Ray Gu is a real estate investment and development executive with experience spanning institutional acquisitions, complex redevelopment, capital structuring, and family-office advisory.
Ray also co-founded ANR Partners, a New York-based investment and development platform focused on multifamily, adaptive reuse developments, and owner advisory assignments. At ANR, he has worked on office-to-residential conversions, hospitality projects, mixed-use redevelopment, underwriting, capital formation, and joint venture structuring.
Previously, Ray served as Director of Real Estate Development at Dajia US, formerly Anbang, where he managed acquisitions of U.S. portfolio exceeding $10 billion (including Waldorf Astoria and JW Marriott Essex House in NY, and Four Season in DC, ect.) , and over $4 billion of development initiatives. His work included the transformation of the Waldorf Astoria New York, into a reimagined 375-key luxury hotel and 372-residence condominium development—one of the most complex adaptive reuse projects in the country.
Ray holds an MBA from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
